The Meaning of Dhamma
The word Dhamma encompasses a wide spectrum of meanings. It is applied variously to signify: nature, law of nature, the law of truth, conditions, quality, property, characteristic, function, practice, duty, object, things, ideas, phenomenon, doctrine or teachings of the Buddha, Buddhist scriptures; the whole universe is Dhamma.
何为“法”?
“法”一字含义广泛，它可应用于各方面，如：自然、自然的定律、真理的定律、状况、品质、财产、特性、特征、实行、任务、目标、物件、构思、现象、教旨或佛陀之教诲、佛教经典；整个宇宙其实便是法。

陈慧，她，善良、诚恳、正直及有责任感。她是位善的意志坚定，有哲学思维，思想敏锐，观察及思考能力强的人。她拥有独特的哲理，浓厚的佛法情操，授持戒律、学习佛法、了解兼实践佛法。
性格踏实、默默耕耘，长久以来的努力与贡献，及对社会的关怀，陈慧终于受到了各界的肯定，荣获了马来西亚十大杰出女性奖、马来西亚十大杰出青年奖(得奖领域：儿童及世界和平与/或人权之贡献)及马来西亚杰出佛教青年奖。
陈慧六岁左右，就有因缘，接触佛法，而佛法就成了她生命的指南。在七岁左右，年幼的她，就懂得向老人解释因果经，和教他们诵经。
在佛法的薰陶下，她也逐渐放下过去坎坷童年痛苦的经历。
毕业后，她为了增加技能，就去进修韵律操教练训练课程，成功的成为一名健身操老师。
陈慧的愿望是想当一位教育学者，把慈悲与智慧散播。因此，她也是一名佛学与心灵讲师。
为了增加知识及表达自己，陈慧也修读辅导与心理治疗学。这些课程对於她每次受各地佛教团体或各社团组织邀请当佛學或心灵讲师都有莫大的帮助。
此外，陳慧也写得好文章，她的文章充满教育及启发性和对社会的关怀，导人向善。
陈慧也出版了数张慈悲爱心专辑，包括：
(1)馨吟
(2)浊世清流
(3)慈悲喜舍
(4)愿世界和平。
在人生的过程中，最难能可贵的是她能保持着一颗赤子之心。
Tan Hooi is kind, sincere, honest and responsible. She has strong will to do good deeds, possess philosophical, sharp, observative and analytical mind. She has unique philosophy and Dharma sentiments, practises good precepts, learn, understand and practise Dharma well.
She does good deeds firmly and steadily. Her continuous hardwork, contribution and caring for the society has made her awarded. Among these awards are Ten Finalist of Malaysian Outstanding Woman Award, The Outstanding Young Malaysian Award (Category: Contribution to Children, World Peace and/or Human Right) and Malaysia Outstanding Buddhist Youth Award.
At six years old, Tan Hooi has got into contact to Dharma. Dharma has since become her guideline. At around seven years old, she already can explain Dharma to some old folks and taught them chanting.
With Dharma, she also let go of the miserable experience during childhood.
After graduation, in order to widen her skills, she learned aerobic instructor’s course and successfully become an aerobic teacher.
She wishes to be an educational scholar, spreading loving kindness and wisdom. Thus, she is also a Dharma and spiritual speaker.
To enhance knowledge and to better express herself, she took up Counseling and Psychological Treatment Course. This course is very helpful when she is invited as Dharma or spiritual speaker by Buddhist organizations of various places, and other societies or organizations.
Besides, she also writes good articles. Her articles are educational, inspirational and caring for the society, leading people to good deeds.
Tan Hooi do published few loving kindness albums, including:
(1) Songs of Loving Kindness
(2) A Clear Flow in the Mortal World
(3) Loving Kindness, Compassion, Bliss and Equanimity
(4) May the World be Peaceful
In every phase of life, the most valuable thing is that she always maintained a virtue heart.
